Troubleshooting
1) Ensure that there is enough storage space available on the drive containing the Traveler database NTSDB.
2) Try defragmenting the Traveler database NTSDB. Proceed as follows:
Edit the server's notes.ini file and comment out the Task Traveler entry.
Restarting the Domino server
Server console command “load traveler -defrag” eenter
After a few minutes of waiting, the traveler server task will restart.
3) If the above measures are unsuccessful, you must reinstall the Traveler Server. Install the exact same version again, without uninstalling it first. This will allow the installer to correct any corrupted files.
4) As a last resort, you can also have the Traveler database NTSDB completely rebuilt.
Shut down the Domino server and ensure that all services are stopped.
Rename the directory "ntsdb" to "ntsdb.old"
Restart the Domino server
This procedure can lead to high CPU load on the server during the rebuilding of the Traveler database NTSDB. Users do not need to re-register their devices, but it can cause problems with user synchronization (e.g., unsynchronized unread marks, duplicate emails in the inbox).
