In addition to Notes® and Domino®, HCL Verse in the new version 11 offers a diverse range of support functions that fit perfectly into the overall package of HCL COLLABORATION SOLUTIONS.
Similar to the capabilities of HCL Notes 11, planning tools and email are supported. With the planned release of version 11 on December 04, 2019, the Indian IT giant HCL Technologies is finally completing the spin-off of the products it acquired from IBM. Users have had to wait a long time and are eagerly anticipating the new features in the individual areas.
The features of HCL products can be precisely tailored to a company's needs, and together they facilitate internal and external communication and organization. A prime example is calendar management with Verse and Notes. HCL Verse version 11 simplifies the import of appointments and calendar entries.
Other interesting features include precise scheduling with selection deadlines, and even the ability to encrypt entries to grant access only to specific individuals or groups. This encryption is secure and user-specific using the Notes user ID.
Emails and contacts are presented in an attractive and modern way, unified under a single interface. New contact applications and the use of images from Domino Directory even allow for the addition of icons and avatars. Writing emails and texts becomes cleaner thanks to language support and access to dictionaries. While HCL Notes already uses German or English dictionaries for checking, HCL Verse extends this functionality to include any other international dictionaries.
In connection with mailing and email systematization, font sizes are also adjusted and firmly linked to HCL Verse to ensure consistency. Selected users can also define mailing rules, filter, or control them. New display options are available when archiving emails, and their coordination is also supported.

Adjusting image and font sizes for improved clarity isn't limited to traditional desktop computers. With the comprehensive range of HCL products—Domino®, Notes®, and Verse—as well as other components from HCL COLLABORATION SOLUTIONS, you're ideally equipped to cover all aspects of data management and communication. The new look of Notes and Verse for email and other applications also plays a crucial role in today's increasingly interconnected world. Mobile devices, in particular, require new views and designs to enable even more flexible workflows. HCL Verse version 11 addresses this need with its attractive browser-based views.
