Many optimizations in HCL Notes® Version 11
Domino® and Notes® were previously supported by HCL Technologies, an Indian IT company, and have now been fully acquired by IBM. Notes® is an indispensable database system for managing documents in the daily operations of many businesses. Some aspects of the new version 11 will be presented here.
HCL Notes® Version 11 gets a new look
The design of Notes® is changing to make working and navigating easier for users by reducing the number of information, tabs, and even subfolders visible at once. Overall, the interface is being significantly streamlined for a clearer organization. Individual sub-items will not be lost, but will now need to be accessed.
With modern themes, HCL Notes® will be more visually appealing, and simpler interfaces should lead to faster processes. The menus are more intuitive, and the email toolbar and editors are also clearer. Customization remains possible, just as with HCL Domino®.
Organize your appointments, meetings and calendar events with HCL Notes® version 11
Daily, weekly, and monthly calendar organization has been improved with several new features. An innovative calendar form allows you to easily plan and manage calendar events. Participants can not only be added to appointments and meetings but also displayed via a scroll bar. Furthermore, a contact form enables flexible interaction, and users receive all important information at a glance.
Additional features in HCL Notes® Version 11
The new Notes® version includes a language and spell checker that is activated via the client within the email or when checking a document. Documents and texts can also be converted or exported as PDFs with a single click. Improved coordination is possible with the synchronized publishing schedule in Sametime®.
